here is a good lfs idiot story!
so i was talking to this guy at an lfs near my work about fish (obviously) when we got on the topic of gar. he told me he was in college to be a zoologist and was in florida one time doing research when he got attacked and bitten in the leg by a 5' florida gar. he said the gar gave him 150+ stitches!!! meanwhile i am standing there rolling my eyes...not believing a word comming out of his mouth.
anyway after he was done telling me this great story, i proceeded to tell him that i keep several species of gar and study/research them on my own time. he appologized and said he's sorry. i asked why he is sorry...and he told me that i must have never been bitten by them...
at this point i am frustrated and borderline offended. i began questioning his BS story and listed some facts that would disprove his 5' florida gar attack!
needless to say when i am in the lfs he is hesitant to tell me anymore stupid stories.
