I really like to give all of my animals ways to natural foraging and not just give them food. I have everyone solved pretty well except the iguana. I was wondering if I could put willow tree branches in his tank and let himeat the leaves? Or are willow leaves not safe to give to him? Any help would be awesome.

I'm not sure if willow tree branches are safe or not but I use to give my iguanas Mulberry leaves picked off trees in my backyard all the time.

I do the same with my tortoise. Other then his fattening feeding time I have forest treats ill place around his enclosure so if he wants a snack he can either dig for the dried fruits or eat the forest pellet things

I know the willow branches are safe to use for perches I am just not sure about the leaves being edible. And I would love to have some mulberries grow around my house but none. I may need to find one to plant.

I'm sure if you planted one it'd do fine where you live in Kansas. There are loads of them around where I live. They're a pretty invasive tree species here in Pennsylvania. But they sure do have delicious berries. :D
