ok so i have a 55 gallon (48x13x21) and on the front and back side of the tank on the glass on the top right and bottom left corners has a ford symbol built into the glass, its not a sticker you cannot feel it at all and you can tell its built into the glass so i was wondering did ford make tanks or was this replacement glass? an would it be worth anything because it has ford glass?

Interesting, any pics? I highly doubt ford build fish tanks, and I know automotive glass isn't going to be used to make a fish tank due to it's curves.
Btw if ford built the tank it would prob say FoMoCo on it instead of the blue oval ford symbol. I'm curious to see the markings
I would tend to believe that Ford definitely did not build a tank. They probably had a custom made tank as part of some type of program or charity.
!!!!!You probably have a home made tank. I doubt Ford made the tank. Someone working at the ford factory probably grabbed up a couple sheets of glass for the project. Safety glass was not always used in the manufacture of automobiles either. The old school cars and trucks used plate glass.. Just my thoughts...
