I forgot to turn my canister filter back on when I did a water change yesterday.
Luckily, I have a HOB that should carry the load until the canister is healthy again. I guess these are my questions:
If the filter was off for 24 hours or so, then the bacteria would be dead, correct?
Do "dead bacteria" pose a threat to the health of the tank?
Will the canister re-cycle faster or not?
Any suggestions?
I am going to do a little water change right away.
