Just finished a bloodworm and flakes feeding. Afro as always made a mess, so please excuse the moss and food debris. Figured I put these fork bars in archives for viewing later down the road. There's about 15 1"-2" indos in here. Ratio is 5 fork symmetrical, 5 three bar symm, one 4, one V bar, and rest are an oddball mix. Hoping they hit 4-5" in 4 months like my other growouts.

I'll try to get a vid of them when they're out more during a BW feeding. Would like these growouts to eventually join this guy.

How did you manage to find five symmetrical forks and I can't even track down one!

Found them at one LFS who buys 50 little ones at a time from Cali. The most I've had the chance to handpick was about 60-70 in a tank, and stopped by twice.

A place not far from me gets batches of small indos from time to time and I have looked through them trying to find symmetrical forks but most of them are usually dark to the point that I can't make out their patterns..

My batches were 95% mocha colored and remaining were dark (usually larger ones). It might of been the qty. in there and standard lighting. I've noticed that they darken at sizes 1.5" and bigger which makes if hard to see barring.

Nice. I picked up two of them the other week from there but didn't get to handpick them. I had their high school volunteer helping me and he didn't know squat about fish. I didn't happen to get an oddball one, but might go grab a couple more over the weekend.

PM Sent to you. It should help getting a fork bar or two.

Krich...If they're unstable to the point where you can't make out the bars, ask an employee to throw in a bloodworm cube or brine. Most of them should rise to the top and brighten up a bit for a couple seconds
