Forked barbel!

My 6yo aro seems to have grown a forked barbel. Have not seen this before, must have regrown this way after an injury. Anybody know how common this is?

I've heared it would grow like that way after losing a barbel or both.. got these pics frm net.

I have never seen a forked barbel but I have seen a golden Asian arowana with 3 barbels (all three barbels looked normal) at a LFS... but other than that, it look like an average arowana. As I had no space and also had to resist the temptation of buying and buying..., just have to let the offer "go".

Here are a couple pics that I found. The fork is very small but visible. From other views its not visible. Interesting conversation around the fork. I figured with so many people on here around arowana and that have these amazing fish that much more would be know. Maybe this thread just needs more time to explode.
