I bought a pack of this frozen ocean nutrition formula one gel bound food for my molly's and platy's. Well they cant pick it apart because its gel bound but I have watched my Africans hit this stuff like its the best stuff they have ever tasted. Especially my livinstoni he can eat a half block whole lol. Is it an ok thing to feed two-three times a week??

BUMP. The fish really really like this stuff. It is also very clean unlike most frozen foods it actually when thawed can be cut into squares and has a nice texture much like a thicker jello

Well despite the fact that your mostly paying for water(85.0%!) and gel binder I think it would be ok for treats. It might be a little high in protein and fat but its hard to tell since I'm not used to reading non-dry fish food labels. It might not be as nutritious as a dry food with the same ingredients since its frozen. Also, while I was looking for the ingredients for this food I noticed if you did want to continue feeding this that ocean nutrition formula two actually has african cichlids listed in the fish that this can be fed to which is weird since it had even more protein in it. Always keep in mind that just because they love it doesn't mean that its good for them (I guess that is why your asking), I used to know a dog who loved chocolate :WHOA: j/k.
