Does anyone know where to get a quality fortune fish or have any docent pics. other than the pearls, whats the big deal with them? Im still a flowerhorn guy, but people always talk to me about theese fish and i didnt know if any members had some info on them.

YEAH, BUT THEESE ARE FULL OF PEARLS, AND I WASNT SURE IF THEY WERE HYBRIDIZED WITH THE TEXAS OR THE JACK DEMPSEY.

To my understanding fortune fish are the latest generation of hybrids come out of Singapore. They have been devolped using select flowerhorns. That is what I have heard.

i agree. its from FHxFH mix but not really the latest. It was introduced about a year ago. They terned it "millenium FH". There are now newer breeds of FH.

can you name some of the newer strain, post some pictures I here that the flowerhorns in the Philippines are amazing compared to what we can get in the states( especally Alabama) I have heard of flowerhorns with gold pearls instead of the silver pearls wwould love to see pictures.
