fossil catfish info?

a friend of mine wants give me this so called catfish, saw it in person and it looks like a typical catfish found here in the philippines where people buy it for food, however i found the fins kinda different though, so before i get it anyone got any idea on what special characteristics this cat has? perhaps pricing? coz he said he paid 60 bucks US for it, i'm not buying what he's saying though. lol.

Hetereopneustes fossilis maybe? They are quite cheap here in germany ( around 12£,that is 15 $)
Get 8-10" big and are very easy to care for.

it's jet black in color, searched for it on the web few minutes ago, venomous? true?

i've been told that the venom on their pectoral spines is strong enough to paralyze a horse... so you could always try that out

have had enough of rtc, they just don't last long enough in my tanks and have to throw them in my earthen pond, same goes w/ my giraffe cats and pangasius.
