last night was looking at my fish and noticed i didnt see my Red Empress peacock so i went in te tank and moved some rocks sure enough found it it's been dead a little bit

sucks ass was a pretty one
 
what do you think happened to it..sorry for your loss of this beauty.
 
i dont really know what happen it being behind rocks and waht not for a few days could not really tell im hopeing though when i go back to lfs they have another hopefuly

good luck getting a new one.. even though it is not a make up for your loss...it will be good to see this pretty fish again i"m sure..post a pic if you get a new one..
 
How big are the other fish in your tank? As the grow, some fish may be able to dislodge or tumble rockwork. I've got a mixed African tank with a handful of catfish. I heard my rockwork shift the other night in my tank. I was in bed and heard it happen down the hall. When I turned on the lights, I could see 3 -4 pretty large rocks had fallen. Luckily none of them hit the glass. Once one smaller rock on the top fell, it just seemed to cause some larger rocks to slide as well. When I set up my bigger tank, I think I will putty together the larger pieces and make sure all smaller rocks are either puttied together or placed in a way they won't shift. That could have been a reason for your loss. Double check your rocks to make sure they are secure before adding new fish to prevent this in the future.

NA WASNT THAT MY ROCKS DONT MOVE I HAVE THAT IN THERE VERY TIGHT IT DIED SOMHOW AND THEN WENT TO FLOAT AND GOT WEGED BEHIND A ROCK FOR SURE
