Found a great deal on a 240g..

240g comes with stand glass tops and lights for 500.00 bucks on craigslist. This guy is willing to help me move this to my house too. hm............ Should I? But I have not even set up my monster tank yet.

For me yes.I check Craigslist all the time and never see anything bigger than 125's.They go for anywhere between $300 and $500.They usually have stands,lights,glass hoods,and sometimes filters.

I have been watching your thread on your 210.Even if you do not have that completly set up and running,if you want another large tank,why not buy this one? It's not like you have to have it up and running.It can sit until you have your other big tanks done,then this one will be ready to set up when you can get to it. But if you see these tanks for sale quite often,then I quess it is up to whether or not you want to look at an empty tank for awhile.

If I lived in OH.. I woulda picked it up already! lol.. I agree anything larger then 125 gals is hard to find in the MW/Central states. If you have the cash, and have the room for another large tank. Even if it sits for awhile. in WI it's hard to find even a 125 for a decent price. If large tanks are easy to come by then unless it's in near new condition I'de wait. Seems to be harder and harder to find large tanks at decent prices. is a 240 in good shape w/ stand,tops ect a good deal at 500$ imo yes.

I got mine for $450 with no lights, just a stand and tank. If the guy is willing to help you move it, thats a BONUS! Now you just need 2 more guys without back problems to help you move it.

i got my 55 with a stand, 18" canopy, rena XP3, heater, lighting, and a giant tetra whisper air pump off craigslist for 300
