while at work on a demo site today my crew came across an issue of tfh from 1983. it was all wet so i dried it out and what do ya know there was an article on dwarf pikes. it was part four of a series unfortunately i didnt find the other three. one, i believe it was number two was on lugs. very interesting to see how far the hobby has come in the last 25 years. even weirder was reading a fish mag with no online vendor ads. just thought i would share.

Thats awesome bro, what month was it? I might have to try to find the other three back issues...lol. I'm sure TFH magazine will have copies in circulation they can sell to you if you specifically request them!!
Let me look. I used to have every copy going back to 1982. I remember the 4 part series you refer to. It was what got me interested in pikes. I'd forgotten about it. I'll have to look and see if I can find it. If I do I'll let you know.
