Found a small bristle worm...

Should I try to get rid of it, or leave it. I know for a while people thought that the bristle worms were bad, and destroyed fish, coral, and inverts...but as I read up on them it seems as though they are more understood now as part of your clean up crew. This little guy I have is probably 2 inches and hitchhiked on some liverock. Question is...do I get rid of him or do I leave him be?

Bristle worms are fine untill they get to a large size ( 6 - 8 inches in length )..Will act a valued part of your cleanup crew.

They usually take a few years at least to attain that kind of length...

Before I tore down my one year old FOWLR setup. I could of had more than a couple hundred bristle worms. Anywhere from an 1/8" to 8". Leave all the bristle worms in your tank. They are by far one your best allies for a clean up crew.
