soooooooooo excited!!! grandparents are pissed tho. but im excitedl. i like the landlord to! he said i can have my tank but i told him i do have plans on getting more but he told me will wait for a few months to see how i do.

sooooo excited to! but its small. dining room and living room is in one area the bedroom is one area and the ketchin is really small and the bathroom is an ok size, rent is 300 plus i have to pay elec and thats it!
just kinda scared tho! never lived on my own. whati may do is get rid of my current cichlids and just get one big wetpet to care for. well ill also have my female jack and one firemouth! so one oscar one male con one jack ( female ) one firemouth. well ok not a wetpet but a simple setup for now tell i know im able to finaually afford another tank
congrats and good luck with everything. Make sure you get on top of getting a job. Good idea to keep a few fish and see how it goes.
As for the apartment.... yes most cheap one bed/one bath or stuido apartments will be small. My dining room/kitchen/living room is just one big room... (basically the size of my old master bedroom when I lived at a town house). The bedroom was a seperate room and has a bathroom. You just have to learn to deal with it and make it work.
