Blandings turtle maybe?

I really dont think its that either. I looked at some more WPT pics and the color of this one doesnt seem to fit but maybe the way the mouth is does...and the shell shape does I guess. If it is a WPT (sorry to say) its the ugliest one I ever seen lol.

WWWWWWoooooooaaaa:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2 You my friend just hit the jack pot:D That is a melanistic adult male slider, very likely a res. Amazing turtle:D

I posted this on turtle times and a few people on there said the same thing about it being a melanistic res. Could it really be a wild one? My office is pretty far from peoples houses...and he was covered in mud...but I guess it could have walked far and avoided the heavy tracfic. I will have to compair it to my large female res I have in my pond. Maybe I should try some breading if it is a res...she has laid some eggs lately but there's no male around. So how would that work...would some babies be melanistic or just het for it? How much are babies worth like that....
