hey someone brought this guy into my LFS and im wondering the quality of it

the LFS only wants 40$ for em so if u guys say its worth it, ima buy em and put em in my 55 for a while til i can get a good solitary tank for em (75-90 gallons? or is 55 fine?) of course i will get rid of my other fish in the 55, btw i love flowerhorns but never thought i would be able to afford one

:O after looking at the pic it appears he may have ick?,.. i didnt notice this when i saw him at the store, probably just overlooked it in the sheer amazement that they had one
 
low quality flowerhorn with ich! not worth it broseph. i paid $20 for a similiar looking one when i first got into flowerhorns. trust me, you want to pay the extra money for a nice one!
 
hi... Y dont you try raising Flowerhorn from its juvenile till adult. that way you could assess how good as an owner you are? ^^ :) find a male one so that you could enjoy it... ^^ just suggesting..:D
 
i think its a great female in great care should have some very nice red when older.
also you could have a ugly looking female that is a sister to a MP. flower horns are breed for males.

would rather have the MP sister than the ugly sister for breeding purposes. even though it could be the sister of a MP, it's highly unlikely.
