Hello everyone. So I got home last night to find my new Jardini on the floor, not moving at all. I put it in the water and held it, swimming for it. Eventually, I felt a slight jerk and then gradually more signs of life. After about an hour of me supporting, it could swim by itself. This morning it ate a nice meal worm too and seems otherwise fine. I am worried about the cloudiness on its eyes. One side is worse than the other. Should this heal over time? Kind of reminds me of scratched corneas in cats.

With good parameters, and wc's the eyes should clear up. :) I personally would add aquarium salt.

I've had the exact same thing happened to one of my jars , lucky escape.
+1 on the heavy tight lid they can shift some weight one fully grown

You are REALLY lucky. He should heal in time with good water and salt. I would up your water change schedule and weigh down the lids and block every nook and cranny!
I once had a big jar jump out of his tank in front of me, and even though I was there to put him right back... He died just from the impact. Gravity on such a big fish is nasty...

The jardini should be fine. Like it was already mentioned, secure the tank lid so this does not ever happen again. You are lucky that the fish survived.
