I have a converted HOB filter that helps pull water from the tank and empties into a filter sock in the sump. a little bit of water trickles over the side like normal back into the tank, which usually accumulates a thick algae growth. Normally I clean it out once a month as its not usually too bad but when I went to clear it away today there were these tiny little orange mushroom looking things growing on the algae? I cleaned the algae like normal but was curious what kind they were and if they were poisonous to the fish, in case they come back.
