found my snake! 2 months!

so, i was cleaning up my ten gallon, because i am setting it up for my male jewel cichlid. i picked up the filter, and inside i found my snake! it was all curled up around the intake tube, and under it i found skin that it had shed while in there. i am just syched, because it has been gone for about 2 months. the thing is though, it was only 5 feet (if that) from its tank. and it still won't eat, which makes it about 3 months since its last meal. the other snake in the tank is eating, and they are seperated, so its not stress or bad conditions

no worries. a friend of mine found a snake that had been missing for over a year. no meals for a year. my buddy gave it to me, because he didnt wanna deal with trying to get it to eat. the thing eats great now! one of my favorite snakes lol

lol thats awesome. i was kinda suprised it went so long with out food, as it is still just a baby. thanks for the reasurance though

yea my friend's parent had just bought a snake for him and the snake got out of the containger in the car and a few months later they found him in the glove box alive. your lucky you found him and he was alive...and good luck with feeding him.

Congrats on finding him

I've lost two snakes, one was a 7 foot Scrub python which expired inside a wall, and the other a russian sand boa which crawled over my arm while I was lying in bed.
