Marble Sailfin Plecostomus (L-083) got him for £18 yesterday saved him from a 2 n a half foot tank but hes im my 175g tank n he is 12" and my other pleco a common plec hes about 7-8" but as soon as he got nearer the marbel sailfin pleco he was sucking on the side of the tale but he is a male and the (L-083) is a female 2 could he be trying breed ??

they arent trying to breed, they are fighting, plecos are very territorial i would seperate them

i got an 18" gibby and hes fairly mean to certain tankmates, other pleco's he really hates.
