Well in the middle of filling my aquarium back up, and I see a snail.........

Aquarium has been up and running for about, egh 2 months, maybe a little less?
Never seen it before... I know for a fact he was never placed in the same bag as any of my fish when I bought them..

So.. Where could he have came from? &
Is it bad? Should I remove him? Does this mean something? ): Kinda worried.. Please help!

Theres a good chance it has been in there the whole time and you just didn't see, it has probably grown and now you noticed it, if it is just one its fine, however generally where there is 1 there is more, and if your fish don't eat em they will multiply

Send it to me! I wish I had snails, but I've never had any in my tank. I think if I did my turtle would snatch them up quick so thats probably why even if they did piggyback in I never have seen any.

Well it had to come from the water or rode in on a fish right? Those are the only options.

It could have come from plants as well. I personally like snails in my tanks. I've got a 20 gallon they multiply like crazy in. When there are too many I feed them to my larger cichlids and clown loaches. They are a tasty snack for my fish!

I hear u man. I would be a little on edge to. Yeah, when you have one you can bet yourself you have more lol. There fine with the fish, just more of an eye sore more then anything. But taking them out will help with the population levels. Unfortunately my snails never went away :irked:
