Found some cool wood

Went for a walk with the dog and found a really interesting piece of wood down by the water. I don't really have a place for it in a tank, but I'm thikning it will look great in my future 90 gallon.

What can I do to make sure it's aquarium-safe? It's approx. 30" long, maybe less and pretty hefty, so it's not like I can just stick it in a pot and boil it. LOL

Throw it in the bathtub with very hot water, then drain and repeat. When the water isn't discolored anymore, you are good to go. BTW, doesn't your bf really like fish? If he does, get him on here.
