Been thinking since last year that one of those tempered glass tabletops would make an excellent front window for my plywood monstertank project.Well yesterday I picked one up for free! Its 60"x29.5" and a full 3/4" thick 2 or 3 small scratches but otherwise perfect and clear!
Im thinking 32"x32"x84" 372 gallon tank:headbang2
Should I go even deeper(front to back)?
Too many projects on the burner right now, finish the new fishroom setup the 2 125g tanks and design sumps install the blower in the new fishroom semiautowaterchanger for most of the tanks,4 pieces of furniture to refinish for the people part of the house, and then chop 5 cord of firewood before it snows:eek: so this project wont start till next summer, soonest.
I can plan it all winter and see what other parts I can pick up for free!:naughty:

3/4"??? Wow, that will get the job done. What was it used for previously?

5 cord of firewood? Rent a splitter bro! Nice score on the tabletop.

It was a tabletop must have been a pricy table

As for renting a splitter no way I put on some old heavy metal and smash away with an axe for hours at a time.I just hope I can get my garden cart fixed or Im gonna have to carry all those logs uphill to my house then split them

Heavy Metal and an Axe...I can't think of a better therapy without a woman.
