OMFG!:nilly: Getting a Tigrinus Catfish delivered to my house today! This deal was a straight up trade. A "10" inch (labeled) tigrinus catfish for sale trade(we will see how big he really is). The ad had a photo of an online tig and i was skeptical cause:
a) there is a look alike out there named the B. Juruense that looks a like to the untrained eye.
b) this was not the actual photo of the fish the seller is selling/trading.

I asked the Seller send me a current photo and this is what I got:

When I planned out my first monster tank, I had a Tig in the works but crossed it out because of my budget. Super stoked that I am getting this amazing creature for spare parts I have laying around the house.:WHOA:

Searched the web and saw that these cats like:

-massive current and high oxygen levels
-75.2-82.4°F (
-reg tank maintenance

Any other tips for this guy? Do they jump? I have a 2' wide quarantine tank set up and ready for him.


I am trading:

-30lbs of salt aquarium
-2 portable air pumps
-40g breeder
-16w UV sterilizer

All this(crap I was not using anyways) for an alive Tigrinus Catfish to my house.

bah.. too good to be true. fell through.
 
Just got a text and he sold it even after we both said we had a SOLID deal. Guess his word was not as solid as mine.

Sad thing is the seller told me how much he hated being stood up cause he happened to him in the last craiglist trade.

He basically did the same thing to me. lol. Not to smart of a trader I am.
 
Haha, that feeling (hole in my stomach) went away by now. But it did suck and that seller can SUCK IT!

Funny thing is, that this seller told me he got stiffed on craiglist awhile back and how much time he wasted on that potential trader.

Damn Hypocrite. haha... OK, im done.
 
Haha I got screwed on CL this wknd too. I got a mag 24 pump (2,400gph) for my sump I am building and I saw it run on a vid the guy sent me and paid 100$ for it. Got home hooked it up and it makes a terrible noise. And guess who won't pick up my calls..... Hahah
