can anyone ID please....looks like a mix up between a pike and a crappie. has some spikes on its back....kinda. very agressive feeder.

It might be a stickleback of some sort.

They're neat little fish with a lot of personality; they're often used in behavioral studies.

thats spittin image lol. thanks case closed i dont know what to do with him though. im sure ill find something. now how bout this guy. my guess is pumpkin seed.

Yes, that's a pumpkinseed.

As for the brook stickleback, try to feed it small aquatic invertebrates or some other small food. It probably has another year maximum left to its life anyway because they're pretty short lived (usually only two years).

Now what's that tail and fin go to? A pirate perch or something?
