Found white worms in my bare bottom aquarium

Can you get a pic of the worms? They may just be planaria which would go away with some water changes

I have this kind of worms in my tank too >.<. Loads of them. I guess because the left over food would have cause this :(. Geos will do the best job IMO, or get some small type of catfish. They'll do the job too :)

I had em. My tinfoil bards eat them whenever they show up. They also ate every snail in my tank too ha.

I had an outbreak of those after adding some new plants. The outbreak triggered quite the chain reaction. Outbreak of worms was followed by outbreak of Hydra that ate the worms. Then an outbreak of snails which ate the the hydra.

I have dealt with them a few times over the years. No harm to your fish, reduce feeding up water changes and gone.

Nematodes actually reduce muck. I'd just keep them. Aquarists have an unprofitable fear of nature. My axie tank is replete with nematodes, snails, hydra, FW limpets and more. They all keep each other in check except for the snails. I just remove those by hand every few months. Embrace the live rock of freshwater. There is no harm.
