Foxface Lo

Now that my tank is back to normal I swung by the LFS with forty bucks in pocket and figured I'd find something cool. Well I grabbed up a Foxface Lo for 35. I'll tell you the color change thing threw me off for like the first 20 minutes, I thought he was dying!

My yellow tang keeps bugging him but I heard thats normal for the first little while.

Cool looking fish. I heard they have venomous dorsal and anal spines. Is that true?

Yep... I read an article that said "The fins are actually venomous and have a toxin that is more painful than that found in any common Lionfish"

It also will change color. When stressed the pretty yellow turns to a dull brown and the black and yellow on the head dulls out. Its a defensive measure and will change color, lay on the rock and raise its spines...

When i first put him in the tank i thought he was dying lol... Very cool fish
