So, I am planing on keeping only my Pleco, so I need a shallow, large foot print tank. 3ft. 3ft. 8-12in tall. OR 4ft L by 3ft W by 8-12in tall.
He is a P.J. Pleco, around 7in now and seems to be slowly growing now. They say he will grow to 1ft, so I need a home for him with enough bottom space without the hieght other fish use. I rarely see him even bother with hieght, unless I remove his driftwood, then he hides behind the filter intake.
So, anyone know where I can buy, order or make one of these tanks? I would be going with 1/2 inch glass I think that would be best. I wouldnt want a rim on top, bottom is fine. Small euro bracing, 1-2in is fine, but any more is just annoying. I wouldn't think it really needs it, since the glass is very short hieght-wise and I hear bowing is hieght dependent.
Anyone here can make me this tank?

your only keeping a pleco? but as for the tank, you can go to the link gomez posted and you can try calling your LFS and if you give them the dimensions you want, they can get it custom built. you can also try craigslist in your area.

CL has nothing.
I would have to do acrylic to ship I think and glass would have to be picked up at the companies truck stops.
Not sure how much my LFS would charge me.
I will email GC.com and see.

As for the comment "your only keeping a pleco?" I am trying to re-home all other fish, keeping my Bettas, and just stick with my Pleco. He is the one who needs the most space, but a battered Opaline Gourami will live with him if I go with 12in and a rainbow shark if I still have him. Other than that, no other fish, not really interested in them. I may later on get a tank for Angelfish, but this tank is mainly for my Pleco, make it easier for me to clean and less massive and unfit for him. He is in a 55g, so the foot print is off and the hieght is needlessly tall.
