Just bought this aquarium and recieved a good deal. However when it was being off loaded the the bottom frame piece was busted off. Any ideals on the best way to repair it. Also what is the best way to remove the paint off of the back. It was put on with a spray can on the outside.

Thanks

It isn't imperative that you repair it actually. I would remove the rest of it before placing it on a stand though. OR shim the edge where the trim is missing. You will need something to make sure that the side with trim is at the same elevation as the side without.

If you decide to remove the remaining trim, I would place styrofoam under the bottom glass. If you shim the one end, it won't be needed.

The bottom trim is there mostly to assist with construction, cover the silicone that would show otherwise & to also match the top.

The top trim is the one that you can't do without.
