Frankie III is a gorgeous flower horn. He looks a little young to breed but I don't see any harm in trying. Keep updating the status of these two. I can't wait to see this male in a few months. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I love all the pearling on this guy!

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm very happy how he's turning out. Hopefully his kok fills in more. It takes all my self control and research on everyone's Fh on Mfk (love progressions) to keep me satisfied and stop me from getting more, and more. So many new strains and variations, if they weren't so mean I'd have them all.

As far as breeding I'm not really planning on anything. The kid loves parrotfish so ended up with a few. Had them all together with Frankie and he got along great with her. Go figure what he sees in that ugly mug of hers. That was a few months ago. Agree. He's too young, to breed, but no harm letting him get his shag on. Also when I removed her he became skittish and sulked in the corner a lot. First time I considered depression in fish. Anyhow happy fish keeping. Cheers!

At one point I owned seven really big, nice Flowerhorns. I kept finding fish that I just HAD to buy. Usually $125 to $300 here for very nice quality. However, they require so much work that they often didn't get all of the maintenance that they needed...and I didn't know about "bare tanks". It was a terrible addiction. We all suffered. Now, I'm down to one Flowerhorn adult female. One adult male and two tiny babies. All in bare tanks. All in very, very clean big tanks. You can only keep as many big fish as you have time for. These aren't tetras. They're real work.

Thanks cho!

Zero: I totally understand. That's why this guys franky III. The previous Frankie's were rehomed to family because I wanted more and after checking forums, realized better Out there, dropped my cap in coin, and ended up with this guy. A lot of work, but worth it. I guess I'm lucky I just keep 1.
