Frantic Senegal

I've noticed after adding my third senegal that although he hit it off immediately with one of my senegals, the other(the biggest one) is nippy with both(dominance reasons I'm assuming).

So now the biggest one is swimming really fast from one end of the tank to the other slamming it's nose into the glass. It also got stuck behind the heater...lol. But seriously, I'm worried it's going to hurt itself.

Oh and I put them into a 55 g tank, less than a week ago, (so they have plenty of room) but this didn't start happening until after I added the new senegal yesterday.

So I added two new hiding spots, hoping that would help calm it down. But it didn't.

thats normal for them.. or at least its for mine, the senegals are really active fish so. I dont think theres anything to worry about. Mine always hits the top of tank at night time.

Oh ok.. cuz the other two are up resting and floating under the lights (after a meal)and the big one crashes into them and they go flying and look perturbed lol. Makes me wonder if a 55 is really big enough....?

I dont think the tank size is the problem because i have 7 of them in a 55 also

Wow how big are they? And what kinds?

I have two albinos at 6in, 3 long fin sen two of which are 4in and the other one is 7in. An 8in Del and 8in Lap. I also used to have an 11in Albino with them untill he passed away.
