I have this Chocolate albino Pleco, unusually large head, but only about 5" long. He's a little odd as far as pleco's go, spooky, not friendy, and kinda dumb compared to my others.
This morning I get up and am looking at all my array of little friends in my community 55 gal tank . (daily headcount to be sure everyone is OK) and I notice my African Dwarf frog's little webbed hind foot sticking out. Weird. He was also under the pleco's bog log. He had grabbed the frog while sucking and I don't think pleco's eat live prey, I think it's a case of who is dumber, the frog or the pleco? I think Senor Froggy just got in the way of the vaccum cleaner. So there's my frog, head first, stuck in the pleco's mouth, hind legs and froggy bum sticking out.
I dove in
to rescue Senor Froggy and that spooked them both so the frog was spit out and the pleco zoomed off. Froggy seems fine.
It made for a good laugh since the story has a good ending!
