Has anyone every grown them out together? I have a 125 with 3 Festae around 2-3inches. But they eventually will be getting their own tank once a pair forms and they get abit bigger. I've read that Freddy's have a slower growth rate then their other parachromis brethren. And usually max out at around 12inches. Just wondering if anyone had tried it. Or if my info I've read on Friedrichstalii is way off please let me know.

I would keep the festae alone, but I mean it could work. It's really a toss up but if you're trying to get a festae pair you have to devote almost everything to that. It's a hard task.
See that's my other big worry, I don't want to screw up them pairing either. Its still in the early stages there isn't any type of pair yet. But I know sometimes adding new fish throws off the balance of the tank.
Well with festae it is a very delicate process, if you want more fish in the tank...add more festae, just gives you more chances of getting a pair.
