Freddy, Mota, or Cuban

ok so should i get a freddy, mota, or cuban, since jags are illegal in utah. i want one that can put up with my red texas and green terror. please post any input you have.

yup apparently someone pulled one out of one of the many soutwest warmwater lakes we have. so now they illegal

that sux, jags are great fish, but really any fish from that family is pretty sweet. easily my favorite family

Freddies and motas are typically shy, hiders and dont have a lot of personality. Cubans have better personalities and are more owner responsive as well...but Id only say get a cuban if those are the traits you are seeking in a fish.

i have a golden mota, pretty shy whats funny is the only fish he will square off with is my tetracanthus. RTMs are the ticket best looking by far imo

I like the motas. Either RTM or Gold. Here are my pair..

cuban cichlid.. only because every mota I ever had hid all the time even at 10 inches,freddies my second choice.
