Freddy or loiselle?

Need some expert opinions im starting to see traits of both fish. This fish i got from wetspot. What do you think?

Where did you get this fish? Often LFS get them confused like Mayans and festae. Here are some pics of a male loisellei I had. You have loisellei IMO.

I got him from wetspot in oregon, i ordered a group of freds, and up until today i believed he was a freddy.

seems to be missing the vertical banding normally seen in freddies.

They are a good source. Most of my fish are from there, so I’m shocked.

I have him and another im pretty sure is a fred, but out of the 5 i got he was the dominant

Looks more like loisellei to me, but like you said I am seeing some traits of both fish, so hard to say for sure. grey "worming" on forehead usually is a giveaway of loisellei, your fish has some of this, but not that pronounced.

Looks kind of like a Loiselle to me - below are a couple of pics of mine from COTA - the 2nd one when he was a little bit older

The fish is a Loiselle.

I live near them(the Wet Spot), and go there quite often. They normally keep two or three species per tank. If they looked alike when smaller could have been an accidental grab of the wrong fish. For me this is the first error on thier part that I have heard about.
