female id say by the absence of blackish gray reticulated markings on the lower head. Very nice female.

Thank you, just wish the local purveyors of fish could actually get their species correct. Seems it is always a guessing game if they are actually the fish they claim. I can't even blame a store when they simply label the fish as what they bought it as.
