Free 11 inch oscar....

I just saw an ad for a free 11 inch Oscar here in the twin cities. Here is my dilemma.

I can A. Ignore it.
B. Try and find a home for it here on MFK.
C. Get it from him and take it back to Iowa to live in a 55, then a 75.

If I claim her she would have to stay in a 20 tall for one week. Not sure if that would be safe... Maybe some wisdom here...

I could get a large tub and put her in there with filtration and heat adequate of course.

Any wisdom would be greatly appreciated. My worst fear if for some kid to get it and put it in his 10 gallon.

Kinda nervous about adding new fishes to my setups but I might be able to give it a home.

He actually just took it off craigslist just from my show of interest. Very kind of him. I just asked him to send me pictures of her. I will post them here right away. Thank you!

Do you want an 11" Oscar? That would be my deciding factor. I know that sounds harsh, but if you don't want it don't take it.

Posting it in its regional section of the marketplace may help.

I do want it. I have been thinking of raising a small one up for quite a while my only problem in that she will have to stay in a 55 with a variety of smaller fish for a few weeks while I cycle the 75. I don't want to risk my 6-7 inch CK.
