cape coral, fl
so as the title sais im getting a biocube 29 for free from a friend who doesnt have time for it. so im sure you guys/gals have heard this many times but what do you suppose i stock it with? its going to be my first SW tank but i do haave friends that will help if i need it. i just thought i would get your opinions thans!!!!

Setup: Live Sand, Approx 25-35 lbs of live rock, protien skimmer, water treatment products (General, PH treatment, Salt...)

Fish: Probably should keep it simple, but eye catching is nice as well. I would do a clownfish or two, a blenny, and some damsels or something. With these fish you can get corals later after your water stabalizes a bit and have a great looking tank.

Good luck and good find! Gotta love free stuff!

yeah love free stuff and thans for the input and i was thinking about the clown fish so i probably will go with at least one of those.:)

i have a 29 biocube and was considering restocking it...

maybe like:
a cherub angel
chalk bass
aldabrensis dotty
firefish
and a couple of clown gobies

im still playing around with it

basically you could have anything under 4"

With salt, IMO grow the live reef rock up, get that healthy, and make it the focal point of the tank. Then, add what you like to compliment the reef

i did get a free one and thanks all for the opinions it realy helps... im going to get started on that this weekend. hopefuly i can get the live rock and sand so i can start the cycling process this weekend.

thank you all i unfortunatly have to put this little project on hold on account of our lanlord wasnt paying the mortgage so we are being forced to move by the bank so when i find a place that will be alittle more permanant if there is such a thing anymore. anyway i want to be sure that i can have the time and devotion that is needed so i dont kill anything. but i will keep everyone posted. thanks again.
