Free Breeder Tank!

Ok, I got a 20 gallon w/hood and fl. light for free. I am going to breed convicts as feeders. What type of filter should I buy? Do I need a heater? Can I have two sets of breeders with a divider? Footprint is 24"x12". I am going to go with a bare bottom with a couple of terra pots.

a good hob or sponge filter, Yes, IDK , bare bottom should be fine with the pots but I am not 100%

The pots might end up rolling around the tank if you go with a bare-bottom..

Oh yeah, didn't think of that. hmmm... I do have a little bit of gravel I could put in there.

If you're going to leave the pots in there how about siliconing them to the bottom? In breeder tanks I try and keep it barebottom for cleaning. If you get tired of it you can always scrape it off with a razor.
