Hi Guys,

Thats right I am giving away a Chinese Perch. The fish is close to 5 inches. I am located in Socal - 91342 in Sylmar. PICK UP ONLY

But heres the deal:

This fish needs some TLC. He has a clamped left pectoral fin and he sometimes flicks himself against the gravel. I dont really know whats exactly wrong, he might have an external parasite but I dont see anything on the fish. He also doesnt seem distressed at all. So if you want this fish, be prepared to heal it up. I tried a salt treatment for 2 weeks but doesnt seem like its helping, although I only used salt about half strength.

Other than this, the fish swims good, eats great, looks happy etc. Remember though, this fish is a picky eater and only eats LIVE food, I was feeding him Goldfish, guppies and ghost shrimp. I tried starving him for over 2 weeks and tried giving him pellets, krill, silversides, market shrimp etc, and he wouldnt go for it. I then started feeding him again because he had gotten kinda skinny and I didnt wanna risk his immune system getting weak and him getting sick.

Hes a great fish, I really like him and he needs to go to a good home. Please only experienced aquarists, who have room to house this fish. This fish will reach a size of 1 and half feet easy. Hes pretty aggressive but if hes comfortable and doesnt feel threatened, and he doesnt have fish bothering him, he doesnt really mess around. But also, be careful with whom the fish is housed with, I dont want this fish hurt. So please, again, only serious experienced aquarists.

This fish is FREE, I could heal him myself and sell him, but the money isnt an issue and I care more for the fishes life. Hes got a great personality and he likes to eat and he likes attention. If you want this fish you can pick him up from me but please know what youre getting into and have the means to care for it. Heres a few pics of the fish. The white mark in the pic on his face is not part of the fish, its the glass or camera that gave that white mark. Also, if you feel a little uneasy you can observe the fish here to make sure its something you want. Thanks
