i got this bichir and bristlenose plec for free off craigslist and the guy threw in 50lbs of the black 3m quartz substrate. He said the bichir is a sen this is my first one so im not sure, what do you fellow MFKers think? sorry pics suck took them on phone.

im excited ive been wanting a poly for a while. i just left the local lfs came home a found the add on craigslist, i was just looking at some 6 inch sens for 80.00. i guess the fish gods were watching over me today.
the 6-inch senegal is overpriced at $80. Even the 10-inch senegal for $129 is too much. I purchased my 6-inch sens for about $20 each.
i thought they were on the high side going by what ive read on here. i know i havent seen polys much around here these places are trying to rape people. oh well craigslist pays off again.
