My mate isnt the most loving fish keeper and has offered me this flower for free. Id love all comments, the bite on his side happened about a month ago and is ever so slowly healing but it doesnt bother me. I just want to give him a nice home from the rough upbringing his had.

Is he worth keeping? Is there much hope for it?

Hard to say what he'll end up like, but I'm liking him so far.
 
Man i think he's really nice, such a bright yellow, and he looks small still, I think it has potential, so good luck with him, I like it a lot.
 
no i dont think so should def get rid of him, ill do u a favor an take him off ur hands?
haha but serious if u dont want him id love to try breed him with my texas an ill create SGT super gold texas lol but i live in nsw so ill pay for tha shipping
 
I never use them, only ever done big water changes and added epsom salts. This method has healed up some really bad battle scars in the past without making all my fish gasp for air.

Well the free rescue is doing well flying around its side of the tank confidently and showing a nice overall orange as opposed to the above pictures. It ate sinking carnivore pellets within an hour of getting him last night. Has really nice pearling!
