I just found a free fish tank on the side of the road while going to my buddies house this morning. It is a fifty gallon tank. It looks like they either had mice, rats, or some kind of animal like that that uses that chipped wood as bedding. I was wondering if anyone knows what i can use to clean the tank out so I can get some fish in it within the next month? I have it soaking with water in it right now. All of the seals on the tank are in great shape. I just want to be extra careful before I put fish in the tank. Thanks.

i would add a 10/1 bleach/water ratio to the tank, double rinse, let dry, rinse again with clean water wipe the glass, and let air dry

bleach or dilute muriatic acid.

just make sure that none of the past residents have chewed the seals...i to would also go with bleach ;)

FREE TANK!!!!!!!! NICE

yeah bleach or peroxide...or just use everclear..lol

windex....

lol kidding, buy once your done with the bleach and you dry it off and its all clean a realy goos cleaning with windex will shine it right up, just remember if the scratches are on the insidde you will never see them once its filled up.
