Okay, this fish is not uncommon and really isen't anything exciteing but I need to get rid of it none-the-less. The fish is a male Neolamprologus brichardi otherwise known as a fairy cichlid. He is in great healthy and wants to breed. He is free but I am doing pick up only. I am getting rid of him because I don't want to do a brichardi colony again and I don't want anyother African cichlids but I would like him to have good home, the fish that will be replaceing him are not compatable so cannot live with him. So if you are willing to come to Central NY and get him he is yours. I hate to say it but these fish are cheap, the gas money required to get here might cost more than the fish at your LFS but you can rest assured he is in good health and disease free.

That stinks. He's stinking cute. I want one. Would he be all right with a kenyi and a jewel cichlid???

He would probably be alright with the kenyi and jewel...I'm not sure, they are small but pretty aggresive. Max out at around 4".

Oscarguy...I live in Ovid, New York, in the Finger Lakes region.

Halofish...In his place I will be getting a pair of longear sunfish and a green sunfish.

wish i was a little closer...

I dont know bout the kenyi, but it will definitely not like the jewel. They are nasty little buggers. I just had to get rid of one because he (3") was nipping the fins of my irridescent shark (13")

So I have a guppy and a gourami would the jewel be all right with them???

If I can't I guess I'll just have to get rid of the gourami. But that's really gonna stink!
