Didn't think I would ever do this, but I had something happen that just broke my heart. My male Florida softshell managed to climb out of his tank and fell, he didn't survive the fall. I found him a few minutes ago. I can't bare to look at the female without her boyfriend right next to her, so I am getting rid of my namesake.

Florida softshells are fully aquatic turtles(occasionally will bask, but maybe 1 or 2 times a year). She will eat any food you offer. I feed aro pellets, koi pellets, cichlid pellets, filets, shrimp, krill, chicken, blah blah blah, you get the picture. She has about a 12" caprace and is roughly 20" tip of the nose to tip of the tail. Sizes are just estimates. So anyone looking for an awesome aquatic turtle, this is your chance. I may be selling the set-up she is in, but only after she is gone. Thanks, now I'm gonna go cry....

Hey sorry about your males ordeal...=[ i'd take it but no room...good luck find her a new home

BTW- there are requirments for you to be able to take this girl from me(tank size). If I say you can't take it, no hard feelings. Its like giving away a dog you've had for 10 years. Shoot, she is older than my dog. Man this is killing me.

Sorry to hear what happen , i had a similar experience , my prized Honduran milksnake escaped a few years back , found her 2 weeks later dead :( . gl finding ure girl a good home.

sorry about that softshells are awesome i hope you find her a good home

i'd take her bro if you think she would be good with the stingrays in the pond

I don't know if I would do it, she has destroyed her fair share of big expensive fish already.

Man thats as bad as when a racoon snuck in and murdered my two diamond back terrapins.Sorry about your loss.
