Great fish, Very healthy, Great eater and there in lies the problem, he eats anything that hits the water, grapes, nuts, massivore, krill, dog food, algae wafers and anything else you want to give him. He's been off feeders for as long as I've had him, (size of a quarter) although I'm sure he'll still eat them if they're offered to him. I have some more picky eaters in the tank, and sometimes its hard to make sure they get the right food because as soon as it hits the water the pacu wants it.
He would be better suited in a large tank with similar aggressive eaters.
My LFS offered to take him in but they would put him in a 20gal tank before the sale, and who knows who would get him and how well he would be taken care of.
I would much rather someone from here take him in and care for him.
