Hi, I am looking to give away 2 Pacu's that are over 24 inches long. They have been great pets and I have raised them since they were little 1 inch babies. They are roughly 3 years old and keep growing. Unfourtunatly my 145 gallon tank is not enough space for them to live anymore. They have never been sick and are very healthy. They mainly enjoy algae disks but will eat berries (usually mushy near rotton raspberries) and peanuts too. I would prefer for them to be picked up but I am willing to drive up to 2 - 3 hours to drop off if i know they are getting a good home.
You MUST have a 300 gallon tank or more
Here is a youtube video I made 1 year ago. They have grown a few more inches. Their upper lips are like that due to being spooked and smashing into the glass, and have been like that for about 2 years.
I hope someone near Las Vegas can please take these fish in their care and love them like I have for the last 3 years. The only place I can find with a Pacu exhibit is mandalay bay hotel and they wont take them.
