Hi folks,

With regret I am giving away my Jardini because he is too aggressive toward the other fish I wanted to keep him with :-(

He has never quite settled in the 5x2x2 I had him in and have moved him into a temporary smaller tank waiting for someone to give him a new home. I think he definitely will want a tank for himself as he hassles any other fish that are put in with him. This isn't really surprising as all the advice was these fish need a tank to themselves ... but I wanted to try him with my Knife Fish and Catfish ...

He's about 10/12 inches and in good condition ... although his tail fin is a bit frayed - I'm putting this down to stress as he never really settled.

Free to a good home if you're want to come and pick him up. I live in York, UK.

Yeah ... I'm sorry to let him go but I reckon he'll be happier in a tank to himself.

Also he might be a bit smaller than I posted above ... 9/10 inches perhaps ... My judgements are rubbish :-/
 
Hmmm ... does anyone know any other forums that I can post this to? Perhaps more UK-centric?
 
i want him!!! im in portsmouth and he would have to have a tank with a parrot and 2 fronts, but none the less i want him!!! lol.

seriously i would have him if i lived closer, hes gorgeous and would prob keep my parrot in check, shes a lil cow!!! bullys the frontosas!!!!!

have fun whoever gets him!!
 
Thanks Chloe ... I reckon he'd probably bully the frontosas too!

Oh well ... looks like there's not many Jardini lovers up here in the North! I might try AquaristClassified perhaps ...
