Not for you but for me ;). Picked it up late last night. It's supposedly a female and about 10 inches in diameter. I added salt to the aquarium when I finally got it home and into the tank but stupid me didn't dissolve it first (I didn't add too much though). I read that 1lb of salt should be added for every 100 gallons and I only put maybe 10 tablespoons into the tank. I suppose I should add some more when I get home? I did a 50% waterchange yesterday morning so I'm not sure if I should wait a little while before I do the next one. Anyways, I just thought I would share my excitement on the killer deal! :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2
Pics to come. Hopefully, when I get home it's flurishing in its new home.

niec thats awesome....how did you get it for free from who?

So your the lucky one, I figured that he had gotten rid of it. Even though he said I could have it. He suddenly stopped replying to my emails and I knew. Well congrats on the pick up and lets see some some pics.

Yea, I'm estatic right now! The owner got stung in the hand while we were transporting so hopefully he ends up alright. It was a very small wound from the looks of it but with rays even a small wound can turn into a BIG problem. I'll try and snap some pics later.

unless the ray is breathing heavy i wouldnt add anymore salt.... 1 pound per 100 is general tonic... less in fine ;)
