Two biotodoma cupido cichlids, possibly a male and a female.

Every fish outgrows them in my growout tank. They are getting beat up. They need a tank by themselves. They are beautiful fish when full grown (~6" tl). You need to have alot of patient for them. They are kind of hard to come by. So, someone please provide them a good home.

How do you think they would do in a planted 48" long 40 gallon tank with a single firemouth and a pair of steindachneris? If you think they will be fine I'll take them.

BTW, first guy comes with a bucket gets the fish.

How big are your fish? Do you have dense plants so they can hide? They can't really defend themselves when they are young. But they can be a little aggressive when they are older.

I'm changing my 180g to a planted tank... (already sold most my polys, and will be given oscars to a friend).

My tank inhabitants will include clown loaches (already in tank), blue jack dempsey (already in tank, about 4"), Angel fish, congo tetras, rainbows, etc...

I was planning to add dwarf cichlids in different territories of the tank.... If you approve of my tank, where at in L.A.?

Yes, that sounds perfect for the little guy. I also have some F1 super rare gymnogeophagus sp. 'Catalan'. The parents were collected by Stan Sung from Uruguay. Jeff at tangledupincichlids sells them for $25 each. I will let the entire group(4) go for $25.

Here is a link to their pictures.

I'm trying to research that fish before I make a descision, but my interest is piqued. What more can you tell me about them? (particularly their temperment). They are rare because they're undescribed, but most of the info I've found so far relates to collection sites and not much on how aggro they are or not.

I just don't want my blue dempsey to get ripped a new one, know what I mean?

If they fit the bill, I'll deff take the 4 though.
